Urata is an ushi-oni transfer student from Japan. He is a structural engineering major and excels at designing suspension bridges with the use of his durable thread. Later Bolt asks him to use his thin yet steel like thread to strengthen the stitching in his beefy body.
Bolt is the creation of Doctor Franklin, the college’s nurse. The muscle bound freak suffers from body dysmorphia and was constantly asking his father for upgrades. For awhile Doctor Franklin continued to add mass to his son but stopped when it started posing a threat to his son’s health.
Cinnabar is Red Diamond’s favorite agent. Instead of shattering the Sapphire and Zircon for fusing he is using them to spy on Lilac and Mint Diamond.
Orange Sapphire was an off color who was unable to see the future until he fused, now able to predict attacks in combat. Zircon judges war criminals
Red Diamond: Militaristic, believes power is what makes someone useful. Is not against fighting dirty to win. Doesn’t understand why his siblings don’t wish to expand their empire.
Black Diamond: Mysterious eldest sibling. Aloof, stays out of the spot light. Often gifts gems to his siblings
River is an oni from a family that keeps traditional values. When River came out as gay his father kicked him from their ancestral home.
Lukard’s father is a conservative vampire who longs for a time when the creatures of the night ruled over humanity. Lukard only feeds from blood banks as a result
Dogtooth Amethyst: one of Lilac Diamond’s favorite soldiers. Easy going and fun loving, Dogtooth can become a vicious fighter when the need arises

Lilac Diamond: the heart of the Diamond Authority. Sees gems as more than just tools. Openly allows off colors and permafusions into their court.
Mint Diamond: the brains of the Diamond Authority. He is behind every single gem that is grown in Kindergartens. Often gifts Lilac off colors.
