Her visit was part of the Erasmus+ programme, celebrating international cooperation and the power of education beyond borders.

On Tuesday, 21st April, QAC welcomed British Paralympic judoka and Visually Impaired European silver medallist, Jack Hodgson PLY, to share his journey of resilience and passion for inclusion with our students.

Thank you to the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation for providing LEAP Sport with the opportunity to attend the Warwickshire Women v Hampshire Women fixture.

It was a valuable experience to explore the facilities, understand the rules of the game in more detail, and learn about the various roles.

Meet Oscar! Oscar is a Pets as Therapy (PAT) dog who joins us every year for our Staff Training as part of our Mental Health First Aid service to support staff with their wellbeing.

He spent yesterday afternoon in the library, where our staff members got to spend time with him!

On 27th March, QAC celebrated National Supported Internship Day at our Pinewood Campus with our SI students. They spent the morning in mock interviews with staff Demi and Saj, who volunteered and provided constructive feedback and tips to support the students' development.

QAC’s football team travelled to Birmingham Metropolitan College for their 5th league fixture of the season. With 1 win and 3 losses, the players showed great spirit and supported each other throughout.

Last week, our PFL and Vocational students had an exciting visit from two 1st players from West Bromwich Albion.

Caitlin, WBA coach, stated, “Every week is different, the students are very keen to get involved, and the Sports students have been great at developing their skills as team leaders."

QA College has become the first SEND College to have our students fly the accessible full motion flight simulator.

The students had an incredible time taking the controls, experiencing the thrill of flight, and even attempting a crash landing.

Last week, QAC celebrated World Down Syndrome Day. Our students participated in the Empowerment Project and joined the “Stand Out Socks” campaign. More than just raising awareness, this student-led enterprise gave learners hands-on experience in planning, budgeting, marketing and promotion.
