And I'm playing keyboard aiming which isn't helping
Yeah it basically whiplashes between open rooms where you can circle strafe safely and then these random cramped spots (hallway at the beginning of the second phfor ship level, last room in feel the noise) where you are suddenly in a meat grinder
Agree on the first point, for the second I played on total carnage so I didn't have that exact problem lol, instead I took a like 10 deaths every time they put those homing green ball torso guys in a hallway or small room. Would not recommend...
Yeah, I already started it and beat the first few levels. Honestly I had a lot of problems with Marathon 2 and didn't end up liking it as much as 1 but Infinity seems like it will be a lot better so far
I just finished Marathon 2, I love this art!
My mind says no but my heart says to blame this on MTG
Play Netrunner with me bro its 100% healthy gaming
Both species were excellent at tool usage for the hunts, although Sketalians are more agile and could use trees as their advantageous spots, while Dragsis relied on grounded traps. Combined together their hunts were more successful.
Sketalians have to eat around 1.5 times more than Dragsis for the calorie to support the additional moving limbs and fast metabolism. In their primitive collaboration societies, Sketalians took more workloads within the community and received more foods as a communal reward.
Dragsis people’s raw strength is unmatched compared to muscle strength of Sketalians in general. Upper torso and their arms alone can only do fine-tuned detail-oriented works, and the below-arms and legs weren’t built for lifting.
However their endurance and the load capacity is marginally superior than Dragsis thanks to the sweat gland and the four appendages below to support the weight. Dragsis people have to rely on evolved “wings” on the back to cool off their heat, which has a limitation.

The hubris beckons for the people who think they are at the top of the skill ceiling. #Magentahorizon
And here comes the new point-and-click project I'm working on. Do you like Speculative Evolution or a similar world-building project based on alien life? Do you like a game where information about the world plays a significant role in the puzzle clue? This might interest you.
Yeah after thinking about this for a couple years (💀) the immediate question is sorta uninteresting/thought-terminating but all the assumptions and definitions around it are important and also touchy subjects for most enthusiasts if you really come at it w/ a critical eye
Most games are prone to getting stuck in the mud, which can exhaust the power of an emotional note and in turn the broader tone
Played a few hours so far, Angeline Era is very good. The highest praise I can give it is that it nails the tone, which is something I've been frustrated with in the past year with games. The immediacy of combat and breezy pacing lets the tone flow dynamically, demonstrate range, surprise
Abscission (Doom WAD)/Besiege (Vehicle Builder)/Akashicverse (Shmup)
I don't get this one because the reason for them having separate collisions is obviously bc they are independent objects for the suspension effect, hence janky results. I replayed a few weeks ago, it's a cursed game but also there's too much mario 64 in it for it it to be bad, so it's pretty fun
If it wasn't hard then it wouldn't be worth it, the difficulty is the point. You aren't owed success and it doesn't follow transactionally from effort, it only comes indirectly from attentive focus on your own actions. Anything else is a desire for fulfilling ego over accomplishing the task
