And that's fine... I have Joy-Cons and other such controllers, so I can still play in tabletop or docked, but I miss just laying down in bed and holding the Switch 2 in my hands...

But there's more to it than that. This Joy-Con 2 is one that I actually already sent in for repair *before*, but when I got the fixed one back, it had a messed up ZL button. So, essentially, I've gone for a whole 2 months without being able to play my Switch 2 in handheld mode.

I've vented about this here and there in private, but the waiting part of repairs is the only really annoying thing about repairs... I sent my left Joy-Con 2 in for repairs on February 24th, 2026... and, to be honest, I have a feeling it'll be over a month before I get the fixed Joy-Con back. :(
