Interesting. I've recently been burnt on 'listening to a podcast about a thing I like', which turned out to be less than fruitful babble by slightly annoying people (also heavily plagued by the problem of using 'like' instead of punctuation), but I may look into that podcast.

Yup. It's not like they can harm the good stuff (re-watching the first three films for the Xth time right now since they're all on youtube). And the more interesting stuff's all in written word, as far as I know.
I'm all for that. Makes it easier to ignore, makes it easier for Sunrise to detach and safely dispose of it if need be.
I have zero interest in this, but I'm boring and feel like I'm good with the Universal Timeline up to 0083 or so. Enough to explore in there for me. :D
Lipped, as far as i know. Most vendors should have them.
A comic con 'round here has such a thing in place IIRC.

In general I trust the EU with that stuff more than I do the silly tech companies of course; but it's a huge break in online policy and societies on- and offline. The whole thing is potentially desastrous to us all and in the best case extremely troubling and restrictive.
This is the death of the internet for private users. Possibly not the worst thing though, given what happened to it over the past 20 years. Still, it's terrible, and we have to take a very, very, very close look at how it's implemented.
Wooooaah. It's #supermanday ! And completely by accident I started painting a Superman earlier today. This is crazy.
oh, those are out already?
Also a good excuse to get these guys (also available as single figures I think): www.etsy.com/at/listing/1...
that colony 87 range is really strong. I also like these sets: www.miniaturicum.de/Pulp-Figures...

Surely a box of the plastic Crew and Crew II wouldn't be a bad idea, depending on how many you want to depict.
Aye, 6mm with 10mm is the way to go. 👍 At least I chose that path as well.
Aw, cool. What size buildings do you use?

My follower number's been pretty much the same for many months (thanks to the ones who joined due to the surprisingly popular GM day post or others!). Still, Bluesky decided to from now on display them in 'k' rather than a full number. Makes me feel like a pretty big deal.
Foundry is good-ry. 👍
Cheers, thanks for commenting. :)

Played a couple of games of Torpedoes and Tides recently. Despite all the playtesting and scenario design and whatnot, I still enjoy the game. And I'm incredibly happy that others seem to enjoy it, too! Thank you to all who have bought it and played it and posted kind words about it.
I honestly think that going for 'quick' over 'not quick, but glorious' is the cause of a lot of the poopoo we see ourselves in.
This looks lovely indeed.
Granted, my wording was injected with a bit of hyperbole. :)
It was a darned cool figure range (in part due to the different proportions), and a darned cool rule book, that's for sure.
Hi! For those of you playing Torpedoes and Tides: I have just published a new scenario. This time, it's about a German S-boat flotilla getting surprised by British MTBs while on a mine-laying mission. I hope you enjoy it: www.wargamevault.com/de/product/5... #torpedoesandtides #navalwargaming
Inquisitor in 54mm was a fun idea for the bigger sculpts and to give the whole thing a different 'brand identity', but I don't think that there is any merit to playing it in 54mm over 28mm, for which people have the stuff already (terrain, figures, bits, ...).
Because the material most people print in disintegrates once you touch the figures (which in many cases just weren't drawn up to be useful physical objects).
