another example: jin, another OMI member, is interested how to get into new groups easily without needing to understand their entire collection of archives first (through assisting tools, for example AI agents we call librarians).

Wider than social [platform] interoperability (while of course including that!), but more concerned about how people in different areas get each other to understand what they mean. How to communicate across corporate/indie culture, languages, jargon, technical expertise - @indiebio.bsky.social
I'm the noob in residence, but I think the conversation is broader than a specific project, more how to bridge them. Things like IPSME (ipsme.dev), digital brain tagged notes (Obsidian as example)... stuff like that. @realmweaver.bsky.social mentioned "a communication protocol as easy as email" ...
thanks again for the interest. This was a broader conversation that started about integrating desktop and VR, or just evolving beyond the 2D / WIMP interfaces. It then expanded into seamless data/information access across digital walled-gardens.
