I disagree. Dems are just recognizing that warning about an impending shit show only animates our side. To move people our way, they need to feel the impacts of the shit show. Tragic, in many cases, but necessary nonetheless.

I disagree. The differentiation should be between incompetence and competence. Americans are clear they think the border is broken, and that Democrats allowed it to happen (if not broke it intentionally). Dems must demonstrate they can control the border to regain trust.
