Tom Misch - Full Circle.
Can't get enough of his guitar tone. A softer album than his previous efforts. It's wonderful. š

As Edward Norton recently shared on Colbert, that we shouldnāt stay in our lane. Instead we should be up for calling stuff out and having an opinion about important issues.
45 seconds with Foreacres. Just the best! š
What a brilliant first Saturday Night Live UK.
Congrats to the writers, comedians and crew. Great work! šŖš»š

Sun is out. āļø
Nubiyan Twist is on. š
Likewise.
I only know some from Taskmaster.
And as you say, better to see the next wave of British comedians.
I reckon Ania Magliano on Weekend Update will be amazing.
Saturday Night Live UK. Iām rooting for you. š¤š»
As a Brit watching American comedy, Iāve been watching SNL for years and itās gonna be an interesting experience to see if the style works for British comedians.
Good luck to the cast and crew.

Yeah, I see what you mean with that framing.
My take is that he had enough swing and movement beyond and ahead of the beat yet also managed to keep this incredible level of tightness - his hard and rigid playing style - like not many others out there.
Which created so many distinct grooves.
Thatās the thing I respect about Led Zeppelin, putting the excess and pretentiousness aside, they were willing to explore all sorts of genres and world music influences.
Itās a wild track and a lot of fun.
Without becoming the ultimate drum bore, Bonham was so funky. Like a funk drummer trapped in rock drummerās clothing.
Yeah, I think that would be my pick if I had to choose one.
Although for sentimental reasons the album is one of my favourites.
It was the first CD I ever owned. šæš
Ah, I canāt see that. Itās a great track!
Maybe thereās an equivalent Prince track we could pick which non-Prince fans love and us fans frown at. š
Iād struggle to pick one, tbh.
Iām hearing ya.
For example, Iāve tried to get into Pink Floyd. Technically incredible and ground breaking.
Yet, I just canāt get into their music. No matter what album I try. Iām a bit meh with them and struggle to understand the pedestal they are often put on.
Itās a beautiful track.
Iāve been revisiting them recently and drumming along to tracks from Physical Graffiti. For a rock band the groove is immense. I canāt get enough of that sweet spot of a rare group of drummers who can time keep and have enough groove for the drum track to lift the music. Bonham was a master at that.
š
I had a hunch you might not be a fan. I think I remember a post from the past where you mentioned that.

Iām so over the companies that run social media platforms. It really is all just a pile of shite. Meta ooze desperation. Spend billions on shite VR platform only to shut it down. Itās rotten how much money these companies waste. Not supporting humanity in any way.
