I mean, all of Apple's success is just continuing everything Steve Jobs did
Most of what Tim Apple did has been very mediocre
His subservience to Trump is what he will be remembered for
Pan pipes
We had those too
"Love him or hate him, you can't deny that Hitler challenges norms"
Maybe "we don't buy software from fascists" should be a baseline
But how else will Palantir ensure Australia remains racially and generically pure?

No more Tim Apple
Welcome John Apple

We have to wake every day to the new horror of what the orange turd has done while we were asleep
a) the entire point of Endgame was so that Marvel could change any character and piece of backstory they wanted
b) if you can't write a movie script without having to rewrite a different movie, then that is on you. Write better
Let me tell you about my first experience driving an electric vehicle. I have driven cheap, second hand cars my whole life—I'm an A to B guy—including the one I crashed, an event I used to kick off a book I wrote about the debt industry.

Orban losing the election has really hammered Farage and Reforms finances, especially after the direct Russian cash pipeline dried up
Gay people are next
And if they won't stand up for trans people then they should have read the poem
Failure in this context means you have learned and are now moving on to apply that lesson
It is a convenient shorthand for "realising you are not on the right path and finding a better way forward"
Great art is built upon successive failures
"hey Claude, how do I handle exceptions in Java?"
Things never typed in Bluesky HQ
Claude probably recommended it
I think before you build an Arc de Triomphe you should be able to identify at least un (1) triomphe
Fun, cheesy, fake 80s

I'm very much of the "fail as fast as possible" mindset
So I guess maybe we just define "done" in a different way :)
I actually think almost the opposite...
Start over, over and over
When something no longer interests you then move on, don't pursue an end goal for the sake of "finishing it", finish it because it deserves it

Passports are a big money maker
I mean, it might be a real issue if the two countries were disconnected like the UK and China ... but for the UK and Australia ... WTAF
I'll renew my British passport because cheap
And if I need to travel I'll just argue with immigration at both ends and stand in the "we don't like foreigners much" queue - despite being a citizen of both countries and easily identified as such because their passport systems can check each other
I have the opposite problem - I have a British passport, and it costs half as much to renew as an Australian passport
And Australia has much the same rules as the UK
So - you need both passports to avoid hassle at immigration if you fly between then countries
Solution is don't travel
Every AI commercial is like "Hey AI, what goes good on a sandwich?" and then the AI is like "Have you considered... cheese?" And then the narrator is like: THE FUTURE IS HERE.
Or Obama's tan suit
Big mention for Adobe as the company shittiest to its own customers, over many many many years
