You are exactly right. It was difficult for me to see how so many voted for Reagan over Carter, and they still keep Reagan on that high pedestal, to this day. The beginnings of where we are today. 🤦🏼‍♀️

And Jimmy Carter was way ahead of his time on the environment. Would that the decision makers had listened then. Our country was better for it, that he was president. 🙏🏻💔

He was not “dirt poor “, like Lincoln, as his father had created a very successful farming operation, but they were not “millionaires “. It was a contrast, from
