here it is folks!

lots of details to still nail down, but this is roughly where our heads are at for the design of a permissioned data protocol

give it a read and let me know your thoughts!

Code snippet demonstrating the `toSorted()` method, showcasing sorting of arrays without mutating the original arrays.

Code snippet demonstrating the `toSorted()` method, showcasing sorting of arrays without mutating the original arrays.

JavaScript now has non-mutating array methods โœจ

`toSorted()`, `toReversed()`, `toSpliced()`, and `with()` return new arrays instead of modifying the original.

No more [...arr].sort() to avoid side effects.

No youโ€™re not, you run in a VM and the llm is running on a different machine you donโ€™t have access to..

You can now build iOS home screen widgets and Live Activities as React components in Expo.

No Xcode target setup. Define your widget with @expo/ui & CNG handles the rest.

AI writing is like store-bought cake. It might be perfectly fine, maybe even as good as something you could make yourself, but itโ€™s weird to give it to someone and say itโ€™s homemade

what a lovely day, I sure hope nothing bad happens

honestly there is something extremely cyberpunk about the idea of being able to message an LLM agent running off solar power over an encrypted local radio mesh network

even when the rest of the power grid is down, together with the cell towers and the fiber backbones

A scene from the movie "what up dead man" where Daniel Craig's character is explainging something in front of everyone in a suit

Has some funny edits
- My pumpkin head that looks cartoonish edited on his head
- Wearing my "nerd snipped by fig" award
- microcosm is in my hands
- there are the logos of space dust, constellation, and slingshot scattered around the image

It is time to abandon Vercel and Next.js For a long time, Vercel and Next.js were my default. Recently, I can no longer support them due to their political stance. It is time to look for alternatives.

Anyhow, donโ€™t use Vercelโ€™s hosting platform.

Donโ€™t use Vercel software.

my llm-related dreams

short-term: minimax m2.1 but multimodal (at least vision)
medium-term: parametric memory models on the level of opus 4.5 but with a practically infinite context window
long-term: the collapse of openai and anthropic and unification of the industry around open-weight models
