Longtime college friend of mine, Mike Prinke, was among those laid off at Epic Games: he has been fighting terminal brain cancer, and now he, his wife, and kid, have no income or health insurance.

Sharing here in hopes it can reach the right people on their behalf.

does the 1/36 chance of double 6's make them completely even odds though? like 10/36 you do 1x pistol worth of damage, 1/36 you do 2x pistol worth of damage?

more than anything, the feeling of flying the jett is just incredible. i do think tfs steps on its own toes quite a lot w/r/t letting the player rly enjoy the movement, but its still impossible to not have a grin on ur face while you dip in and out of the waves

when you @export a packedscene, after a bit it will update the scenes filename to be a thumbnail that is typically less than useless, with no editor setting to disable thumbnail generation or set the thumbnails manually. makes it really hard to tell what a packedscene export holds w/out hovering

also, i was in ur position 3 yrs ago, learning gdscript as my first language w/ no prior programming knowledge, if u have any questions general or specific i can help!

re: abstraction, its an abstract toolset, no two ways around it. art programs create images, programming languages create any theoretical logical outcome! thats a lot bigger of a problem space, so the language has to be less specific so you are more free to do whatever the hell you want w/ the tools

the answer to your main question "how do i use this" is just "you dont, and if you need to, you'll know". the docs have tens of thousands of methods, you are never going to use all of them, and you'll use some constantly and others never. all u need to know is the bit youre actively working on.

i realize the issue here is general and not specific but all these three methods are saying is "if you have a specialized kind of array, you can make a new generic array thats a copy of it"
