Timely reminder that the treatment for chemical weapons like tear gas and pepper spray is:

1) remove from active contamination (get them out of the cloud of teargas, remove outer layers of clothing if possible)
2) flush eyes with ONLY clean water. Wash skin and hair with water and soap.

And if you see something, no the fuck you didn't.

Wear a fucking mask out there. Cover your faces.

Sudecon wipes. These are great for mace.

Water bottles and clothing that can ideally hold a couple of them at a time. Ones that squirt are great for tear gas.

An IFAK with added medical supplies (blister pads, bandaids and antiseptic, finger splints etc if you know how to use them, trauma shears)

If you want to prepare for a spicy summer

3M mask with extra filters. Ideally a full face respirator.

Soft body armor of some kind for impact munitions. Doesn't have to be ballistic.

Helmet. Can be ballistic. Can be bump. Even a bicycle helmet can save your life from a grenade.

Hero worship has no place, considering someone impervious to critique has no place, stop that shit. We all hold value to a movement, but we are not infallible. Be comfortable being accountable for your horseshit.
