Normally around this time of year, I’m in Florida. Not this year, not because of Trump, but because we have a puppy to consider. So we stayed in Cornwall. I’ve been to Hawaii, the Caribbean, but have never seen a better beach than this

Will Trump be switching the manufacture of his MAGA hats to US companies? Passing the tariff costs onto his disciples? Absorbing the cost? Or coming up with some form of exemption for himself? Will be interesting to see

I think it only fair that we should not issue visas to convicted felons. So that’s Trump’s state visit cancelled.

I still believe that most Americans are honest, decent people. I also believe that many Trump voters had valid reasons, but too many were taken in by the lies and rhetoric of a selfish bigot and his enablers. It’s sad to see what your great nation has become, but hope one day humanity will prevail.

Seventh Mother’s Day, without my mum. I think about her every day, everything I do, everything I’m going to do, every success, every failure, every decision I need to make, I still want to discuss with her. 💔

The implication from the original post, is that the proposal is to close some areas while spending money elsewhere. In the interest of balance, I think it is important to clarify that there is no capital cost. If there are any operational costs, they will be offset by the revenue generated.

Just a reminder that this is a branch campus providing a revenue stream with zero cost to the university.
