TX universities are doing this to Black students, Brown students, international students, queer students, and first-generation students. A generation of progress toward making everyone feel welcome, primed to learn, and more likely to graduate and become productive citizens--all up in smoke.

‘Destruction and disruption’: UNT professors slam program cuts, demand more cost savings data A group of professors at the University of North Texas are calling for more transparency as the school cuts dozens of degrees amid a projected $45 million shortfall.

“We’re a university of researchers. If I want to do a single study, I have to show my data but we’re being asked on faith to trust the university’s decisions that affect our everyday lives without any specific data to back up the circumstances.”
