I think I'm only going to get 6 to 6.5 hours of sleep tonight.
These pop-up storms are just moving so slowly, they probably won't be entirely out of my area until close to 4:30-5am.

AND the Lightning won too?
Dang this has been a better playoff day for me than it was 2 days ago, that's for sure
Looks like I may get to see the third period of Kings/Avs as well π
Well at least the weather cleared at just the right time for me to see the Mammoth's first playoff win in franchise history
We got a series
Might not to get to watch any playoff hockey tonight if this nature noise keeps lingering around π
If we lose this series, itβs time to start having difficult conversations
4 first round exit in a row is an embarrassment
If this organization can let Stamkos go then everybody else is fair game.
Julian can go pack his bags too for the terrible roster construction
The musician Prince Rogers Nelson.
Can't believe it's been 10 years since he left us. May the music live on forever. π

YASSSSSSSSSS
AWOOOOOOOOOO πΊ
Lightning and Mammoth both lose, and the Avs only barely scraped by the Kings
What an awful night of hockey for me
"Like us, wolves form friendships and maintain lifelong bonds. They succeed by cooperating, and they struggle when they're alone. Like us, wolves need one another."
ππππππ
This book is going to melt my heart in so many ways.
Another quote: "More than anything, they taught us that wolves form friendships."
AAAHHHH!
Friendship is magic, etc., etc. π
I'm 24 pages in and a quote has already stuck with me:
"Being an alpha isn't about being the toughest or meanest wolf; it's about taking on the responsibility of caring for the entire pack."
Chills down my arms after I read that.
My next reading material after I finished the book on the Challenger disaster [that one was definitely an eye-opener]. Really looking forward to this one.
And, with this, I suppose I should share a bit of news:
YES, I do plan on bringing Azubalt to Whinny City for his convention debut. ππ€πΊ
Happy first day of the Stanley Cup Playoffs!!!
Whether you've got dogs in the fight or riding on a bandwagon, best of luck to everyone's teams.
As for me...

[I would mention the Kings, but let's be real, no one's giving them much of a shot against the Avs]
Good Saturday morning......wait, afternoon.....ugh.
The worst thing about storms happening during the overnight hours is it *completely* throws my sleep schedule for a loop.
I didn't get home until 2:30am, and didn't get to bed until 5 am. Still got 7 hours though, so silver lining FTW π
Had to hunker down and shelter at work for an extra 3 hours tonight due to the squall line/cold front that moved through.
Thank God/Praise Luna it was no longer tornadic when it got to me, because that was my biggest worry as it got closer to the Indiana state line.
Yes, there's a BUNCH of bias in my NHL Stanley Cup Bracket Challenge picks
But all along, the Mammoth's mantra has been "Why not us?"
And what a sports story that would be if they win it all in Year 1 in Utah

Alright, here we go:
Super Mario Galaxy was the 163rd unique movie I've seen in my life.
It is the 60th movie I've given a 5-star rating to.
I ended up putting it as my No. 12 favorite movie of all-time. Not quite top 10, but still a great movie overall.
Absolutely adorable.
I mean, let's be real, I squeezed my Yoshi plush tight when he was introduced in the movie.
And any time he was on screen.
And yet that's just one of SEVERAL plot points to keep track of, AAAHHHH!!! It was just so good!
It's not very often that movies leave me speechless walking out, but Super Mario Galaxy just did!
That was TWO. HOURS. OF. SHEER. INTENSITY just thrown at the screen with so much going on at once!
Buck, WHERE am I going to rank it on my all-time movie list?! I'll figure that out when I get home!
I was legit worried.
Pop up storms formed [not in the forecast BTW] and I didn't know if they'd be gone by the time I left for the movie.
Thank God they did.
LET'S DO THIS.
A parody of the CLASSIC Hall and Oates song "Out of Touch", check out "Keep Doubting Me [I'll Prove You Wrong]" NOW on Pony.FM!
Thanks for your support of this set! ππ€

*PARODY RELEASE!*
This track is Shining Armor essentially telling all his doubters and haters to just pay attention. You never know where a leader may emerge from, and Shining proved that as he worked his way up Equestria's ladder.
Keep doubting him - he'll just keep proving you wrong.
BIG day today, with the weather finally being nice for once this week!
Having some lunch now, parody release coming up shortly, and then tonight I'm FINALLY going to see Super Mario Galaxy! SO EXCITED!!!
A little teaser for tomorrow's parody release from Shining Bright:
If you are a fan of Hall and Oates, I think you will enjoy this week's release. π
Reminds me of myself, to an extent...
Pony by day, wolf by night, and you never know when the other OCs may appear π
Congrats! ππ
Had to leave the house a little early to beat the weather, otherwise I was gonna be stuck at home. Looks like another severe weather day with multiple rounds of storms.
I decided to get a mini-meal before work, so I didn't repeat the same mistake I made yesterday when a storm hit on my lunch hour.
Severe thunderstorms decide to hit *right* at my lunch hour.
Isn't that convenient. π
But with my anxiety, the last thing I am right now is hungry. π¬
