What started as me just trying to recreate an existing SpongeBob background for practice turned into a huge project where I learned a lot, and got to draw a whole bunch of characters I hadn’t before! It’s not perfect, but I think I’m happy leaving it here!

I’ve been very coy about how much I’m actually properly writing because of this. I kinda just pretend I’ve been writing very little. It’s a weird mental hurdle that I know deep down that I am completely unable to overcome, ever.

Is it normal as a writer to be really against anyone you care about reading your books? There’s a pretty good chance I’ll publish something in a year or so, and I seriously do NOT want to tell any of my friends or family when I do.
