I was there when travelling in 2004. Flew to Berlin then train to Warsaw, Krakow, Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Pecs, Zagreb then Llubjana.

Came home via Zurich and Geneva.

I wouldn't recommend this route though as you will be able to find a more direct one if you look hard enough...
