I will always love him for his loan period at Aberdeen and the free-kick against the Huns.

Hopefully Marshall will start games next season now he's signed a new contract. I'd be happy to see Alfie Bavidge get a shot as well.

He must be the last Aberdonian to score a hattrick against them.

5 years ago maybe. Just feels like he's looking to finish his career in his hometown.

Excellent gig in Sunderland tonight. Only gig on this tour I could manage, but got 3 outdoor Idlewild gigs in summer to look forward to.

Artworks - Paul Simon's Political Storm - BBC Sounds The legacy of one the most popular and controversial album releases ever - Graceland.

This is well worth a listen about the controversy regarding the album.

I've still got a Tommy cooker that will burn that. Use it when camping!

A brief trip to Sunderland and a pint of Allendale Anvil in the fantastic Ship Isis. It may not be as big a drinking destination as Newcastle, but there are some great pubs here.

Excellent wee beer shop, with a few tables to drink in. Highly recommend the Caledonian Craft Beer Merchant in Dunfermline. Great view out the window!

Half a mile down the road takes me to the Shears Inn. An historic pub surrounded by old mills with decent cask options, but the interior 'refurbishment' is pretty crap (especially when you see what they've done at the nearby Three Pigeons). Having a pint of the Stancill Ginger Pale 🍻

I was reasonably lucky, I bought in EFP2 which worked out at 50p a share and sold most of mine for Β£19 a share when BrewDog started flogging them at Β£25 a pop. Still got a few hundred.

Going by the Equity For Punk forum, everyone there has known for a very long time that their shares are worthless.

James Watt will buy it back, flog the Australian arm to Asahi, US arm to Molson Coors, the German brewery to Heineken, make himself millions and open more atrocities like the Waterloo bar.
