I want to point out that it is 40% of trans people who are unemployed, but when you break down the statistics it works out to 60% of trans women are unemployed.
And this doesn't even begin to facto in under-employment, where we technically have jobs, but they're either infrequent or devalued.
When you look at the actual numbers, you see that trans folks are not experiencing a "vibecession" or even a recession -- we are in an outright depression
