Redid the rendering and now we're getting somewhere. I'm still a little hesitant on my linework and use of black, but it's working for now. Will def need more practice with it as a style.

Been trying Photoshop again. Idk. I think I just prefer Sai2's brush physics more even if PS has more options. Will probably redo some of this rendering.

Tooth finally feeling a bit better - so have some quick lineart I managed to do in the last couple days. Still a bit out of it though.

Reminder - If you're not stealing bits and pieces from other artists like they mugged you for your lunch money in school, you're doing it wrong.

As I said - wanted to practice using more black for shading, and also want to try and scale back my lighting and shading - often feel like I overwork things. So limited color palette and shading was the challenge.

Looks decent enough, I think?

One of the points of recent practice is that I feel like one of my flaws as an artist is a hesitancy to commit to black, especially when doing outline and layout - so it's something I'll probably be trying to work on a little.

Ah - The character's name is Limon, btw.

This is a very different style to what I've been doing. Ended up doing a few touch ups after all, obviously. May experiment with this style more in the future.

I would normally keep working on it, but I'm mostly trying to practice cel shading and a different style - so might stop here. We'll see what I think after a few hours and looking at it with fresh eyes. Otherwise, will start in on something new.

Sill using this for some practice and such with cel shading techniques and line art. Has some color now. Will need to work more on darks and and brights. Will probably work on some fanart after finishing this, idk.

Not a commission - but was using someone's FF14 Character Screenshot as a reference. Never used something like that as one before and was giving it a try - so the breasts definitely aren't how I'd usually do them, but they are true to the reference.
