I think the collapse of US hegemony is up there with "awesome like drag queen story hour".

Sitting here in the college library, I overhear students sitting at the next table talking about fermenting booze, and then worrying about going blind.
I poke my head out of the booth I'm at and put them at ease, giving a quick lesson in ethanol Vs methanol, fermentation Vs distillation concerns.
There's a quote in there about people "losing faith in the law".
No. I haven't lost faith in the law. I've lost it in law enforcement.
But they still haven't realised that we make that distinction.
Most people who voted for trump aren't ashamed.
After the White House complained about an unflattering photo of Karoline Leavitt, it was removed from AFP and Getty’s systems. This is the photo in question. Please do not repost it. 👇

Time to learn a new instrument! 🪗
Can a bagpiper learn a squeezebox?
Time will tell...
So, yeah, mostly a one off. I've made a few. I bought pride pins, and the smallest square and compass pins I could find, and applied duco cement with some Dremel tool skills.
I made an Asexual pride flag version for my lodge secretary.
It's now been four weeks since the deadline set by law and they still haven't fully released the Epstein files because withholding exculpatory evidence is clearly what you do when you're "innocent."
Reformed January 6th participant (who refused a pardon): “You can't gaslight me. I was there. I saw the officers being pepper sprayed. I watched one of them fall down and hit his head and his back. So don't be telling me it wasn't violent.”
NOW that's the rule. Quite a bit different from 150 years ago.
There's a lot to that. The boomers didn't JOIN in nearly the numbers their parents did (particularly not younger boomers).
BUT a part of that is that, as more and more women entered the workforce, men were home more and couldn't jaunt off to lodge meetings three times a week.
My Masonic lodges don't at all.
My grandmothers Daughters of Scotia lodge had (has. still exists, even though she doesn't) a death benefit for a few hundred dollars.
Not Columbia like DC
They don't value health care.
Thus: to them, the crisis does not exist.
All Democrats want is to lower health care costs for Americans. Republicans in Congress won’t even come to the table.
How out of touch are they that they can't see we are in a health care crisis?
Most of those orgs were created SPECIFICALLY to provide insurance of some kind. More often than not it was life insurance/death benefits, and members (if you were a member long enough) could get into a nursing home late in life.
You're useless. You're a lame duck who isn't using the power that gives you.
This is pathetic.
Release the Epstein Files.
Yes. Because this graphic is from 2018, when the FBI shuts down a network of hackers.

Your first idea there is faulty.
We have a huge section of the US Population that *reject* systems as a sociopolitical philosophy. They believe All Systems Are Wrong.
Thousands of kilometres?
That's like... 120 miles, right?
A days migration for an unladen swallow?

Old Donald Trump tweet
President Obama never did attack Iran.
But you just have - because of your "inability to negotiate properly."
This is a real tweet! See it here:

"US Inserts itself into Israel's war with Iran, strikes 3 Iranian nuclear sites."
At least one paper got the headline right.

Seriously, they're the worst!
The only reason for most of the functions on that mixer is because someone doesn't ACTUALLY know how baking works, and trusts the recipe as written.
The Minnesota shooter apparently used data broker websites to find the home addresses of the people he shot and murdered.
Congress has had years to do something about data brokers and they've sided with the tech lobby over and over again.
Their inaction is deadly.
So.... I live here now.
From Ypsilanti, now to Hancock MI
I see no upside to this.
