"Murdering 100,000 people is worse than lifting sanctions on a few people" - it's a good thing trump doesn't have a body count like this too

What am I ignoring? Both parties have policies towards Israel I disagree with - the Republican party is worse.
There was a strong preference from the Israeli govt for a trump victory so obviously they felt it would give them something more than a Harris victory.
Just as culpable is also wrong - why do you think Israeli govt favored trump is they are functionally equal?
Again you can argue they are culpable without saying they are equally culpable. There was a strong preference in the current govt of Israel for a trump presidency why do you think that is?
So it's good to remove the sanctions?
Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil found dead after being trapped in rubble following Israeli strike, obstruction of rescue:

"such revolutions happen not upon every little mismanagement in public affairs. Great mistakes in the ruling part, many wrong and inconvenient laws, and all the slips of human frailty, will be borne by the people without mutiny or murmur." - You can apply Lockes right to revolt to the individual lvl
Who was not in charge?
One of the hardest lines in this song is "turns out he was a missing person that nobody missed at all" it reminded me of this dude "The Town Bully"
Who was shot in his truck in front of 40 people by two different shooters and the police couldn't get a single witness.
Hey Earl! - Advocating for alternatives to state sponsored sentencing in domestic violence cases
Slopaganda hits home. This is an excellent report from The Centre for Media, Technology and Democracy on the use of generative AI and inauthentic AI accounts in exploiting existing grievances and promoting secession narratives.
Your job sounds fun
Turns out I was giving Polanski too much credit on Ukraine. What the fuck is he talking about here? Putin has an ICC warrant for the industrial kidnapping of tens of thousands of Ukrainian kids & rewarded the soldiers who massacred civillians Bucha with medals for their ‘bravery’
And people say AI has no good uses
I'm directly responding to your statement about there not being a left flank in the US.
Well I mean that isn't true - you can argue they are culpable in addition but more culpable is definitely wrong. For instance I think Trump's removal of Biden's Executive Order 14115 which sanctions settlers and settler orgs is worse.
I think going back to giving them 2k lb bombs is worse.
I actually don't think this is true European electorate is significantly more authoritarian on many scales.
Particularly with regard to immigration - this is self identifying leftists saying they think immigrants assimilating is very important.
What do you mean by that?
The question of "deserve" is irrelevant in this context. If you saw the two candidates and one of them was like I pledge to kill millions via USAID cuts and the other one was like I'm not going to do that. The question of what Harris deserves is irrelevant it's the question of what others deserve.
As Twitter became X, use frequency has become strongly correlated with dislike of Democrats.
The more you hate Democrats, the more you post and visit X.
I don't even mean it in a disrespectful way. Like being literate at a level beyond elementary school is a thing we don't have for a decent chunk of the country let alone the world.
Thanks dog - feels good
Yeah it's almost like there were good things and bad things. If I could I'd give you an award for best sad tumblr rugby boi tho and I know youd like that
Yeah it'd be devastating to this argument if supreme court justices were appointed by the winners of elections and many state supreme courts are partisan so...
I think for instance the legalization of same sex marriage is a good thing.
You might have missed where I said successes and failures.
Or maybe let's put it this way. People can't be truly radical or progressive and cling to the idea that electoralism is a major or leading edge of a movement. It's the trailing edge - the candidates you see are a product of collective successes and failures of past decades
Nah - for me that is a West Wing brain kinda deal. Voting is not a big deal especially between such different candidates. I've had to think harder about which pasta sauce to buy. If anything it speaks to the fact millions of deaths in the global south isn't that big of a deal to some people
Like I know I'll never get a candidate that reflects my full values because the world is full of tons of ignorant people who are hostile to my ideals.
