it feels a little like Flanders Classics is with Gent-Wevelgem where RCS was with Strade in its first couple seasons—they know they have something with potential but are struggling to nail down the branding.
A throwback result at the newly named In Flanders Fields
Dane Cash and Cosmo Catalano break down the action from the artist formerly named Gent-Wevelgem.

beep beep, boop boop
Make UCI points actually matter by instituting a “color draft” where teams pick from a pre-selected collection of easily-differentiated, on-trend color schemes, based on the previous season’s results. p/b Pantone.
I should add the last handoff in most car visits does get a nice but not inordinately strong sling.
hmm looks like bsky wants square-cut video? Interesting.
I’ve been slammed lately, but here’s a few seconds on how it’d be great if Peacock's Olympic XC skiing coverage could stop repeatedly saying things that are objectively untrue (and would be illegal if they were not).
At some point I will get around to posting more things here
A two-block section of the Dutch municipality of Baarle-Nassau labeled as "Nederland" surrounded by "België" on Google maps
The Belgian municipality of Baarle-Hertog labeled as "België" surrounded by "Nederland" on a further zoomed out screenshot from Google maps
An even more zoomed out Google maps screenshot of Baarle-Nassau and Baarle-Hertog, showing their relationship to the "normal" Dutch-Belgian boarder many kilometers to the south.
and then there are the Inception-style Dutch enclaves within Belgian enclaves within the Netherlands:
I did! Saddle was slammed, but still looked like she was riding on the top tube. I guess the ease/performance of running 700c makes the odd position with it (or it wasn’t her bike)
bad day for Boas and crash mode so far
As a guy who makes stuff in a lot of different formats, I've tended to be mostly OK with using the term "content" to describe it. But more recent developments have been causing me to rethink that evaluation.

I should also point out that Dane and I do #HTRWW Podcast Live shows after big races on the @escapecollective.bsky.social YouTube channel:

Part of the issue was I did call in the robot to clean things up and make the code more maintainable (lol).
Then some later change I made caused one of the robot-re-written parts to break in a way I couldn’t quickly resolve. Should have just kept cooking my own bowl of code spaghetti.
I do get replies from this app. At one point I had a functional cross-posting script but then accidentally broke it, and haven’t been able to fix it because I’m too busy making memes (& dealing w/other technical issues)
On my long list of things to do is fix the cross-poster I broke and import my old Twitter archive. I do still get replies!
this is, in fact, the only recorded instance where amp was Good, Actually.
and even then it's still Bad, Actually because it bypasses what is (probably) an intentional user privacy setting. I should have linked to a version at Internet Archive.
a little disappointing they didn't post the source to that—they pull the data from pre-made routes on Google Maps, seems like it'd be trivial to create a new route that covers the GW

honestly expected a least *a little* pushback on the notion that Australians aren't normal, but nope—not a word against it.

I have again created some memes. CyclingThreads
I have actually wondered about this more often than I’d like to admit. I really want there to be some glib historical joke answer but it seems multifactorial, and well-established (at least since women started reliably having pro races to attend)

Wait, there’s a return deposit? Is this why I see way fewer plastic cups strewn across the course now than back in the aughts/early teens.

ah, I have exchanged more than a few emails with him! Good dude.
