Watched Maria Bartiromo’s interview of Kash this morning. That felt a whole lot like Sen. John Kennedy’s questioning of Kristi Noem right before she was fired. It seems like Trump uses proxies to lay the groundwork for it so he can claim firings aren’t in response to “fake news”.
And they remain mystified as to why it's so hard for them to find real lawyers who will work for him...

Jackie Corin, Parkland school shooting survivor: “Gun violence is not just another dramatic device. Art has the capacity to deepen public understanding and awareness, but it can also flatten and distort reality. ...small tonal choices can shift whether a story feels productive or dismissive.”
Despite casting Zendaya, Emma was written as a white woman, and Zendaya plays her generically. The majority of mass shooters are white boys & men; this largely is a white, male problem. The twist is it’s a girl! You can almost hear Borgli patting himself on the back.
it would be a wild thing to say if that’s what he said
I cannot believe you people are making me defend Chuck Schumer but lying about what people say is bad.
Vance must have read the NY Times piece about how much money Kushner is banking. Setting up VanceCoin on the flight over.

One reason to exclude Vance is that he is a terrible and disinterested negotiator. Another is that its bad to have another adult in the room to witness for Kushner's conversion of diplomacy into a wealth extraction machine.

One reason that we cannot have professional diplomats representing the interests of the United States is that it would disrupt a pattern of personal enrichment for the Presidents allies and families.
Ugly week for SCOTUS: In her new book, RW bullshitter Mollie Hemingway reveals Alito pressured colleagues to get Dobbs published quickly; Hemingway sugggests Justices Kagan, Breyer, and Sotomayor were deliberately delaying their dissent to give would-be assassins time to pick off their colleagues.
I hope @cbsnews.com and the rest of the complacent mainstream media understand many of us are going to remember how they not just let Donald Trump get away with this despicable behavior over and over, but rewarded him for it.

@jaketapper.bsky.social's time is too valuable for no stinkin' fact checks.
"A supporter" A literal violent J6 Nazi - it would have taken you 20 seconds to research the widely-known name Brenden Dilley, who is also affiliated with Tenet Media and Tim Pool who took tons of money from Russia
Interview with @macfarlanenews.bsky.social. starting at 50:00, a reminder of what a great journalist Scott is.

They’re so desperate to post the 10 Commandments everywhere and yet somehow, even more desperate to violate them.
The cutest part of this is Michelle Obama casually sitting on the teeny tiny chair.
Child: I know your name. Mamdani.
Obama: What’s his first name?
Child: Mayor.
Can’t wait to hear about the new “peace deal” Monday around 7:30 AM before the markets open.
And this court's actions have tethered the US to a more expensive fuel source for the foreseeable future.
Breaking: HHS’s ban on gender-affirming care is struck down. Rarely have I read a ruling this sharply worded.
“This case is one of a long list of examples of how a leader’s wanton disregard for the rule of law causes very real harm to very real people.”

I said the other day, in response to Republicans using an obscure rule to open mining in the pristine Minnesota Boundary Waters, that it's not even about money; it's the perverted pleasure of proving they have power to destroy beauty & joy, bc they think only they should have a right to it.
The people terrorizing trans people, most of them, know that they are wrong. That’s a big part of the fun, getting away with it.
NEW: This might be the perfect visual metaphor for the war in Iran.

Sarah Isgur QTing the NYT shadow docket story: In 2014 and 2015, the Court used the “shadow docket” to stop Texas’ anti-abortion restrictions from going into effect while the case was pending. The left was thrilled with the shadow docket at that point—years before this case even existed…
Isgur is such a fucking hack. the case she’s referring to is one where the 5th Circuit entered a stay and it was appealed to SCOTUS. the case in the Times story involved the Court intervening to stay an EPA rule while a lower court was still adjudicating the issue.
We’re worse off than we were under Obama’s deal. Period.
Trump blew up the 2015 agreement in 2018, and everything went backward.
Under that deal, Iran’s enrichment was capped at 3.67%. Since it was canceled the deal, estimates are that Iran got it up to 60%. Just a step away from weapons-grade.
This is a direct result of Trump's policies.
Once again, ICE proves the notion that Donald Trump would deport only dangerous, violent criminals was always a lie
“This is someone who maybe had one speeding ticket in the last 30 years and [is] being treated like a notorious criminal”
D.C. police were about to arrest Rep. Cory Mills (R-Florida) after a woman accused him of assault last year, but a lieutenant ordered them not to when she changed her account after appearing to talk to the congressman.
Chief Justice John Roberts: For my friends, everything; for my enemies, the law.
