And you realize that reasoning isn't going to fix the behavior. There need to be consequences, like not being allowed to play anymore.

It isn't enough to say "That's not constitutional" or "It's hurting the American public." They know, and that's why they're doing it.

There must be consequences.

There's this pretty common thing that happens when you work with kids and they start misbehaving...

You jump in when they hurt each other and try to reason with them. "That thing you did is wrong, and it hurt your friend."

The kid will look at you and say they know, and that's why they did it.

Maybe it's silly of me to maintain a childlike sense of hope... but I'm holding onto it.

My dog has the personality of a bag full of jelly bellies with all the bad flavors picked out, so I ordered this sweater for him. I’m very excited. It looks like the perfect sweater.

I bought some stickers at the arts and crafts store and tried my very best to put them away when I got home.

Somehow, instead of putting the stickers in my sticker collection pouch, I have pickled a handful of radishes.

I cannot even scratch the surface on how much I love those Frixion pens.

My classroom burned down along with all the pens and pencils in it. Having pencil options for the kids was a big win in my classroom. I'm gathering new ones and seek suggestions!
