1993, eh? This is fascinating to me, as it means there is a non-zero chance you've saw me in a play there.

This is so depressing. But it does underscore something I encourage with my friends and will now with my Bluesky followers: stop donating to the Big Orgs. Give to small, upstart organizers.
I have just seen so many idealistic people go to the big name places, only to be ground down by this shit.
I swear every morning these people wake up, and immediately start thinking "what is the shittiest thing I can do today?"
New Orleans is pretty great.
Where are/were you?
Has Ken seen this?
@hodgman.bsky.social Thinking of you once I realized I hadn't fallen into a parallel dimension....
Yesterday morning kids were sent running from their bus stop in panic because ICE showed up. This guy at todayโs ICE Out of Lindenwold protest is a must watch ๐ญ. @maddow.bsky.social

1. Did you know that Girl Scouts has, for a long time, accepted trans girls and nonbinary scouts?
Trans kids are under attack. Every year, I make a thread of trans and nonbinary girl scouts you can get your cookies from.
Lets get our cookies from them this year in solidarity!

(I particularly remember her coming out to yes-and a big swing I took in our class show.) Beyond the awful loss to American culture and politics, I can't imagine the pain she must be feeling right now. 2/2
Romy Reimer was a classmate in an improv class I took at UCB seven years ago or so. She was sweet, unassuming (I had no idea who she was until I looked at the contact info she contributed when we all parted at the end of the class), and a good improviser. 1/2
I actually want to see this.
This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.
Nice of Logan to help Charon (or whoever) with his boat. Almost like he knows the guy.
Do you know David Ives's one act play The Universal Language? www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNUA...
