Manual for the Bipolar Mind A first-person field guide to amplified perception, thought loops, and staying grounded.

bipolar.makercore.net Here is something I made from all my hypomania/mania/psychosis episodes.. Mind you my grounding techniques are a bit off. I used AI because I am too lazy to put it all together.. I just had it ingest all my notes.. And, mind you lot of the information in it needs refined.

Yep… brain’s taking in so much detail it starts filling gaps. It’ll turn patterns into shapes — visuals get wild. I saw some crazy stuff. It’s just senses cranked up and the brain going, “what do I do with all this?” so it starts filling it in.

You are hearing the actual soundwaves hit off the walls.. Phase diffferences between the ears. Normally those phase differences your brain uses to track spatially where the sound came from. But, in that state.. whew... Just overloaded and sounds crazy weird.. Like reverb .. echoey..

Nobody ever explained this…

In mania it’s like your senses are cranked up. I wasn’t just hearing sound — I was hearing it bounce, reflect, move around the room.

Felt like something special.

Looking back… just too much signal getting through.

Not special. Just overloaded.

When your brain is overloaded, it doesn’t go quiet…
it tries to make meaning out of the chaos.
That’s where things can go sideways.
And, of course people around you will think just snap out of it. Mind you they have their filters up and have their easy reality. Scary ride..

Bipolar: Auditory system so sensitive this is the part I think drives people over the edge. And, music Pink Floyd is nice but honestly anything in that mode you can zoom down to micro details without trained ears! It felt like I could ride inside the music.. Immerse into music.

You notice microexpressions and unaware gestures in everyone. And, it freaks you out.. And, your brain assigns meaning to it. There is so much noise in heighted state (before mania/psychosis): #Bipolar #Mania #Psychosis

My trip back from heighted Bipolar state..Sensory gain cranked up. Everything is sharper, louder, deeper. It’s beautiful—but overwhelming. Too much input to process, and one surprise can throw you off.(Not psychosis—just the heightened state right before.) #Bipolar

Quitting my job. The boomers I work for refuse to share ownership or profits, so it’s time to move on and build my own thing. Short-term money comfort isn’t worth long-term misery.

They need to put disclaimers in short plain language defining what they are. And, we demand they quit using the terms like health insurance and healthcare insurance. They don't provide healthcare to people. They are nothing but financial entitities beholden to shareholders.
