Hello, it’s Filth! I would like to say a couple things just before the new year starts. Firstly, thank you everyone for your support this year. I’ve been able to do a lot more with my art than I ever have before. I was also able to reach many more people this year. For that, I am extremely grateful. Trying out streaming, more commissions, more zines, and trying out ArtFight for the first time has been amazing. Secondly, I would like to be a bit transparent. I am usually pretty private, but I am very open and vocal about my mental health. Depression has always been an issue for me, but this year it has been incredibly difficult. Some may know of my public breakdown earlier this year. I really am truly sorry that anyone had to see that. Unfortunately, my depression has taken its toll on my work. Previous years I struggled to create art consistently due to my slow workflow. Now it is because I struggle to even get out of bed. This has caused me to fail my obligations to commissioners, zines, and anyone else I owe art to. To those people, I am so sorry. I’ve been consistently late to zine deadlines, and I apologize for that. I’ve failed to deliver multiple commissions, and I apologize for that. If I owe you art and haven’t given you a refund or apology yet, I am so sorry for forgetting. Please feel free to reach out to me through DMs or email. Considering my current mental health, I will be putting commissions on hiatus indefinitely for now. I simply cannot consistently make art at this time. Thank you for reading. I hope next year will be better for all of us!
