An Apollo space capsule descending to splashdown, under three red-and-white striped parachutes. One parachute has been replaced with a Tunnocks teacake, for comedic purposes.
Largely ignored by the world’s media, Scotland’s astronauts have returned safely too

Following their successful splashdown, the Artemis II crew gathered for a group portrait in the well deck of the USS John P. Murtha, positioned in front of Integrity, the Orion spacecraft they personally named.

I am also shocked by the lack of coverage of this fire. It’s so far only affecting the Union Street buildings, but one of those has partially collapsed, from what I can tell backwards into the station. And it’s not yet contained. This is major and more than halfway down BBC’s homepage.

This should serve as a wake-up call for policymakers to address the drivers of ill health, not just the consequences.
We're calling for the Government to invest in public health and preventative measures to close the gap in inequalities and strengthen the building blocks of health.
Healthy life expectancy refers to the average number of years a person born today would expect to live in good health.
A man born in the UK today can expect to spend 18 years of their life in poor health, and a woman can expect to spend 22.5 in poor health.
New data published today by the Office for National Statistics shows that healthy life expectancy is down by seven months at a national level, the lowest level since 2013.
Here's what the data shows ⬇️ 🧵
