It seems like she did start to focus more on the competitive circuit, but that dries up about 2014/15 as well. Which is fair enough: people’s interests change and all that.

I also created a page for 100 Ornithopters (mtg.wiki/page/100_Orn...) but other notable cubes could have pages too. Thea’s own, perhaps, and Klug’s c/ube and the original Desert cube are a couple others on my mental long list. Also pages for Cube Tutor and Cube Cobra. I could go on! :)
This goes for anyone else reading this, too, of course. Unsurprisingly I’m currently building a profile for Thea (mtg.wiki/page/Thea_St...) but there’s no doubt other people who have made significant contributions to cubing who it’d be cool to highlight.
Funnily enough, as of 10 minutes ago you have your own profile page! So some amount of tooting is probably appropriate ;)
Expanding the cube coverage on the wiki is something I’m pretty keen on. If there was an aspect of cubing you felt removed enough from then I’d encourage you to get stuck in!
Hey #mtgcube fam: Thea Steele. She had a SCG column and ran cube drafts on MTGO before the Holiday cube was even a sparkle in Tom LaPille’s eye. I’m researching for @mtg.wiki but everything I find points towards that 2010-2012 timeframe. Was she still involved in the cubing community after that?
The NRL (Australia’s professional Rugby League comp) had a similar issue, especially around names of Polynesian players. A massive chunk of the player base. A few prominent people raised a stink about it — rightly so — and it seems way better now. (Though I don’t really currently follow League much)
But not on Arena.
Hey: Pauper can do weird things too. Just look at Sadistic Glee — not only is it in contention for having one of the best card names ever, but it did silly things with a (now banned) common from MH3.
Seldomly has a reddit sub been more accurately named.
In the Arena shop! ;)
Of course, if I put any amount of time or effort into doing that… well, I’d probably fit into the stupid category I guess.
If had significant deposable income then I might get one for laughs. Or rather, if I had actual physical skills I’d consider getting a wrecked one and put a conventional engine into it. But not anything considered cool like a V8 or rotary. No. A 2.4L diesel engine from a mid 90s Volvo or something.

No SEO fluff, no attention bait. It's countless folks (each far cooler than me) writing their hearts out about Magic 💙
And finally the WB deck. Which actually has red in it as well for some reason. Does brawl not have the same arbitrary colour restrictions that commander has? I thought it did.
Screenshots taken today, btw. Here’s the UR Dragon one.
This comment might as well act as a source if nothing better can be found. So first: Codie.
@mtgarena.com: was there an announcement for the three Strixhaven Brawl decks available in the store's deck tab? I'm wanting to document these for @mtg.wiki but I'm having trouble locating the source material. (One thing I learnt in school is the importance of proper referencing!)
So you’re saying it’s not a waste of time campaigning for something in the South of NZ’s South Island then???
Damn it, Janet.
You no doubt get this request a lot Tony, but I’d love it if some of your art was available to purchase as playmats. Your illustrations were always among my favourites when I first got into Magic, especially the goblins, and time hasn’t diminished this at all.
I’d assumed this was the reason Library of Leng had been excluded on #mtgarena. Weird card.
YOUR BODY’S HERE… BUT YOU’RE NOT!!!
Been jamming a lot of 108 of late, who admittedly aren’t quite as relentlessly positive as Shelter were. The music is rawer, at least.
Christians can be quite fun too. The band Good Clean Fun in particular. I’m not religious at all, but the music is a vibe.
Got that Kneecap blasting!
Same. Hardcore kids need to get into Krishna again: big fan of bands like Shelter. They just have a certain vibe to them.
Wishing everyone in Queensland a very happy from the river to the sea Palestine will be free. Also, dump the bosses off your backs. Tiocfaidh ár lá. Fight Apartheid - Stop the Tour. I’m not sure if there is a particular slogan for it but the Tiananmen Square Massacre happened. Free West Papua. etc.
Thirty years ago, Nick Floyd created a wildly popular two-player Magic format played with a single shared deck. Now, Secret Lair is bringing our own take to the table — transforming Dandân into a deck of our own, coming soon.
40 minutes with the designer of my favourite #mtg set? Yes please!
Ok. I think I’m getting somewhere. Who needs a new defiler model and a Ravenwing refresh anyway? #40k #kitbash #randomhashtag
Honestly, I’m pretty impressed. This is an absolute genius way of targeting a certain demographic. Not that it takes much to get that particular type of person worked up.
Putting the man into man cereal.
