Performance-wise it’s the best React Native app I’ve seen, but a proper native client would be great. The lack of ads bloat helps with that performance though.

In UIKit, at least, you’d have to really go out of your way to produce janky scrolling, SwiftUI is a little different, though.

Yeah, I’m sure they’ll fix these when they have time (or PRs now that it’s open source). The point is just that you don’t get these for “free” when not truly native.

Scrolling on posts with many replies is where this really shows. Still, a great job with few resources.
