The way people even talk about one another with dating. Looking at one another as just material transaction, come up, status, valuable or not, marketable or not, worth investing in or not, struggling woman, struggling man etc etc. Just units, dollar amounts, perception, profit. Its disgusting.

And basically any time anyone "regular" is involved, by the end they've come up in some way and now have a lucrative business, are succeeding in their field they went to a bunch of school for or got some money from somewhere. This is kind of my issue with dating and romance as a topic in general tbh

I just had a long conversation with my mom today ab this. How I felt like that my whole life. She talked about how she did too. And then we talked ab the ways we've corrected and continue to struggle. Enlightening stuff. Amazing what we cut ourselves off from because of this without even realizing.
