A group of devoted volunteers is methodically researching, cataloging and digitizing more than 10,000 concerts that one music fan recorded over four decades.

It is never worth visiting a chain restaurant if there is even one family run joint in the vicinity. Even if it’s bad it will be memorable, but often it’s better than the mid offerings at your average Sysco slop shop.

I now do everything in my power to order directly from responsible companies and avoid the Amazon go-between. It's been working out well. My Amazon purchases are down 95% in recent months. I've even started to buy more books from @bookshop.org who now has their own e-reader app I use on my phone.
