That's what we've been saying. What happens to patients who don't have family that can try and make sense of the system for them? The system certainly doesn't catch them.

We've waited the whole day for a decision from the doctors and still no answer from them. Time is ticking.

Emergency care, even with the support of a social worker, for dementia patients in the NHS system is absolute shite.
You just get passed from pillar to post without any care solutions being offered.

I think this sums up the UK quiet nicely.
It's easier to get emergency accommodation and care for an elderly cat than it is for an elderly dementia sufferer.
