MPS workers are holding walk-ins across the city before school day for International Workers Day to remind all that labor rights and immigrant rights are intertwined. Immigrant workers are the backbone of key industries—yet they face disproportionate exploitation, wage theft, & unsafe conditions.
It was great seeing so many members and public education supporters on MKE's highway overpasses for today's 50501 - 50 States, 50 Protests, 1 Day. The Highway Overpass Demonstration & Clean Up took place on 15 different overpasses across the city in response to Trump's dismantling of our Democracy.

A huge thanks to Milwaukee Tool for donating nearly $60,000 worth of new equipment and tools to seven MKE Public Schools technical & career education programs, as well as theater tech & arts stage crew programs. Our union played a pivotal role in helping facilitate this generous donation.
