For over 40 years, the location of Robin Gibb’s 'How Old Are You?' album cover has puzzled fans.
Grant found it - and Andrew has now recreated the scene on location.
The original Clark Gable / Ava Gardner movie poster replaces the album-title version seen on the cover.
Today marks the anniversary of Maurice Gibb’s passing in 2003.
His importance to the Bee Gees wasn’t about spotlight moments, but continuity - a musical constant across decades of change.
His contribution isn’t always obvious, but it is everywhere.
We’re celebrating the end of 2025 by (finally!) submitting the finished manuscript for our third book to our publisher.
“Decades: The Bee Gees in the 1980s” follows the Brothers Gibb through the turbulent 10 years that followed their 1970s halcyon in detail never before achieved in any medium.
No doubt you’ll have the ‘Decades’ books in that case.
The ‘80s volume is very close to completion.

Happy World Book Day 2025!
We’re celebrating with our award-finalist books: DECADES - two deeply researched, critically acclaimed books, about one of the greatest groups of all time.
DECADES: The Bee Gees in the 1980s should be available before the end of the year.
The reissue of 'Bee Gees Greatest' had a few remixes on it, but most of them were just album bonus track fillers.
The Teddybears Remix of 'Stayin' Alive', however, was Pretty cool!
Arthur Baker did a bunch of remixes of 'E.S.P.' - 'E.S.P.N.R.G. (Vocal)' was the best.
Next up - the DMC remix of 'Tragedy' by Rod Layman' (1994)
Top of the pile has to be 'Night Fever' featuring Janus Stark from the movie soundtrack 'Whatever Happened To Harold Smith?' (2000)
It's an ass-kicker and would make Alan Kendall very jealous - he was never allowed to cut loose and shred like Gizz Butt does on this track!
Our independent research digs deep and we amaze ourselves with some of the stuff that we find out, so we’re confident that there will be lots of new information here for everybody!
We’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The 1980s is is such a neglected period in so many documentaries, and books, so we’re gonna rectify that by giving more coverage to the era than ever before.
Bee Gees in the 1960s and 1970s books
We’re taking advantage of our time off from our day jobs over the Christmas and New Year holiday period to get a lot of writing done on the next volume of the Bee Gees DECADES series.
Welcome! 😁👍
Some great coverage for "DECADES: The #BeeGees in the 1970s" in The Australian Herald.
We did it again! 😃👍
On World Book Day 2024 in the United Kingdom, we celebrated “Decades: The Bee Gees in the 1970s” being named a finalist in The Wishing Shelf Book Awards. Judged from a total entry of 799 books, and 121 in the Adult Non-fiction category, this is a significant feat.
The media coverage that we've had for the #beegees "DECADES" books has been amazing and has made all the new research and interviews so worthwhile.
We'll obviously be maintaining the standard for future volumes.
Today, the Australian Herald featured this review - we're very flattered. 😁
Andrew was featured on Britain's most popular radio station, BBC Radio 2 yesterday.
It was a feature called "Midnight Mastermind" - but he was asking the questions, not answering them.
Of course, the Bee Gees' "DECADES" books got a mention! 😃👍
We've been quiet, but that doesn't mean that we haven't been busy ...
Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
2023 ended well for us with lots of media coverage for the books, including this piece in the Australian Financial Review placing us in the top ten best music books of the year!
