It’s been a busy but very inspiring few weeks of events in Indiana, Massachusetts and North Carolina for FWCC! I feel so blessed to share this time with folks who care so deeply and bring so many gifts to the world.

It was lovely to worship with Cherice at North Valley Friends just before she left on this trip! I recommend her and her work!

"There is God in me" - A Young Quaker on Faith and Global Quakerism YouTube video by FWCC World Office

"I feel like there is God in me... like there is a candle in me. God is not 'there' but he is here." Sikhuphukile Nare, a Quaker from Zimbabwe, shares her inward experience of worship. You can watch it here, and if her words speak to you, please do help us share her message. youtu.be/6DvxC9N5tZI?...

I knew I was a Quaker when my mom taught us how the world was going and I didn’t even realize how many times we had been there

Spot Cuaquerin! As the year draws to a close, I'm reflecting on blessings. I meet so many inspired people, including the Bolivian Friends who created this little character for children's Quaker studies. I bring him with me on all my travels. Can you guess all the locations? Answer in the comments!

The concept of a “magnet for for your fridge” feels pretty quintessentially U.S.A., even though they’re souvenirs everywhere. I bring them as little gifts on my travels and just got this photo from a pastor in El Salvador. He got a new minifridge and had something immediately to swag it up!

While walking the streets of Philly this evening I crossed paths both with an old friend from college and Kamala Harris. It’s taken me a few hours to realize the improbability of both those things happening in the space of a few blocks within less than an hour

Shining Our Light Before Others - Friends Journal A Quaker’s thoughts on the new American papacy.

"I ultimately found my faith tested in these last years," says Evan Welkin, executive secretary of the FWCC Section of the Americas, "in a way that had nothing to do with Catholicism, perhaps even little to do with Quakerism but everything to do with God meeting me in the darkest places in my life."

Leaving Jamaica today. It’s been a rich trip and “Quakerin” of Central Friends YM in Bolivia has been here to pray for me along the way

I arrived in Jamaica and worshiped with Friends this morning at Amity Hall. This meeting is home to our FWCC Americas Recording Clerk Mary Carter Haynes. I picked a breadfruit from the tree out front and tried limes, mangoes and a new fruit I'd never seen before, "sweetsap."

Just arrived in Jamaica for Annual Sessions this week. I have tried to assure folks that I didn’t intentionally bring a Category 5 hurricane with me.

Leaving Philly after another short visit. It’s been fun to see the seasons change, though I can’t claim anything like Robin’s Schuylkill crossing consistency. I heard conversations in Turkish, Spanish and Italian between @friendsctr.bsky.social and the airport
