Looking at the schedule, the Lynx play their 10th game of the year on June 4. Seeing her back in game action by then feels a little too lofty. Effectively a quarter of the season at least.

Update on Phee from the #Lynx:

"Collier underwent successful surgery on her left ankle on March 24. Her rehabilitation is progressing as expected, and the current timeline for a return to on-court activities is early June. Further updates on Collier’s progress will be provided when available."

Though I don’t really care for the back-and-forth blame sequencing that’s in most modern sports docs (thanks, Last Dance!). The Untold series has been hit or miss for me with some pretty good hits. Looking forward to watching.

I wasn’t a fan of the book, though I do think very highly of the rest of Eggers’ work. Thought the book was a missed opportunity to reassess the ways in which that team was covered by local media. I don’t expect Sheed to feel remotely apologetic and I don’t think he really needs to.

Day One of Lynx Training Camp No. 4 for me is underway!

We should get post practice interviews every day from today through Thursday. They travel Friday then play in DC Saturday.

I’ll be catching them in Kansas City next Monday and also chatting with President of Business Ops Carley Knox this week as well! Lots of content incoming!

Additional but important detail: Big Daddy Kane absolutely killed it. His band was amazing and he expressed so much love for Minneapolis! 12/10 show. Catch him live if you ever get the chance.

Forgot about the Fillmore! Been there a few times and every single time I think “we need to come here more.”

I also love the space they added at Modist. There was a rave happening in there (I think) last time I was there. Wasn’t for me, but I was happy everyone in there was having fun!

Candyland is clutch! Great for sending gifts too. And songs should be written about Murray’s Happy Hour. Those little buttery crackers they give you are to die for.
