Another year, another great day of writing craft lessons and book hauls from @barrelhouse.bsky.social's DC conference.
Over the last month or so my sleeps-in-during-the-week 20mo has been waking up close to 6am on the weekends. He normally never sits still, except these mornings. We’ll watch an old movie or a MST3K in these wee hours. I hate being awake this early but damn if these haven’t been my favorite moments.
BTW, don't forget to do cool stuff with your buddies. It's pretty much the best thing going.
