I want us to learn to distinguish between people who voted for Trump and MAGA Republicans who have used Trump voters to enact all of this suffering.

Please. May we use this moment to clear a path *back* to sanity - not further isolation.

I’m not saying you have to invite them into your home. And I believe accountability is a part of care. BUT PLEASE do not celebrate the suffering of your fellow working class or poor humans like they deserve it. None of us NONE of us deserve this.

When we talk about how the elites are dividing us against each other *this is part of it!*

If we’re ever to have any hope of bringing them into our coalition, I just need you to understand that their suffering is still *human suffering* brought on by the oligarchy. When you preach on class solidarity, it must include Trump voters who have a chance to learn now.

I’m begging my fellow Democrats, progressives, liberals, leftists (all of us) to dig deep and find some empathetic feeling for the Trump voters who are only just now realizing that they were used and lied to. Please.

You are not alone. No one is alone.

There is no “they.” There is no such thing as “them.”
