You Arrived. 2021. Taken on a long arching turn of Hwy 20 east of Bend, near one of Oregon's famed shoe trees. It was April, warmish and the smell of juniper was amazing.

Walling weather is here! Last summer I completed this wall out in East Olympia. It was such a nice place to work. A gentle breeze keep me cool in the sun and I could hear the train!

Working outside is really beautiful. I feel very lucky to do it as much as I have. It can also really drag you down when it's cold AND wet for days. It really makes me appreciate simple things like a good cup of hot coffee, wool sweaters and a powerful car heater.

I felt lucky to escape Olympia's rain and sneak some sun with an old friend. Not a bad spot.
