I kind of like having the commitment, like if I can finish this comic I can finish anything. I only started making comics seriously in 2024 but there’s something really nice about seeing your characters move and interact outside of your mind, then sharing it with others as well.

Having a comic done and printed and people at events are excited about it is like... so fucking cool. I love the process too, of course, but having a comic actually done just rules. That is why I recommend short form to so many folks. Finishing is such a good feeling! I love goals!
