Bought 70 Amiga disks for 10 bucks. Seller tested a few and found errors but surely they can’t all be bad

In other news, I need to stop buying Amiga disks

The DSPico has rekindled my love for the DS. I’ve had this beautiful matte blue DSi for some years but never had a Flashcard which works in it.

This machine is my perfect portable size. Nice screens, not too big and the texture of the matte surface feels great.

I find it fascinating that Famiclones were so prevalent in Poland that today when trying to sell a genuine Famicom, every seller labels it “like Pegasus”

For filling the endless void inside you?

That is true and you are doing great work, thank you for this project. I think I'll hunt down a UK contact and arrange some forward shipping.

I'd love one of these but the pencil neck European bureaucrats passed a law and Rob can't ship to the EU. Not his fault!

This is our socialist version of Trump tariffs :/

Amazing!

That’s cool! Does it read the disk in one go or read the disk as it goes like a real system would?

Makes you wonder about the story of getting these. Were they a lot from say a school or business? Or did he have 10 then 15, then 20 and at some stage he says “what I need is a 26th G3”

My wallet doesn’t have space for 3000€ tho

So after a long ass time i finally reworked my first update pack i ever released, the one for Windows 98.

I learned so much since i made that thing and i finally had the time and patience to bring it up to my current standards. As a bonus 98 FE is supported now too.

The OG iMac was a recent pickup, the CRT is gorgeous and it’s a real novelty to adjust CRT geometry inside the operating system settings.

I love the Lego Gunship and once we have everything setup id like to display it in our living room

I bought the Mega CD for 150€ about 10 years ago.

Vinted puts it at about 250€. eBay maybe more but risky shipping. I’m need to test it all too. It worked last time I tried it but that was close to a decade ago.

I do want to begin to sell some of this. Once we are settled I can start sifting through this box by box, looking for what might sell locally, what might sell on Vinted and what I (shudder) need to list on eBay for the best result

My family is moving house and I elected to put the majority of my retro gaming collection into my container.

Usually I squirrel and Tetris things into every hidey-hole. Sobering and somewhat overwhelming to see it all stacked up in one place.

Only cost me 20€ too! That’s quite good considering the floppy alone goes for that much on eBay.

Another guy was selling boxed XP for 60€ but I didn’t bite. The nostalgia for XP is big but by that time it was all OEM for my work, so I barely saw the boxes
