I thought that when watching this one too. I’m a fan anyway but this was particularly good journalism

I was never ultra distance, but rode 70-120km most weekends around mid/south wales. Stopped in 2019 after one direct incident and one indirect, which made me turn away from roads and back to MTB. Recently took up gravel, which is a revelation- so good to be able to switch off & just enjoy pedalling
GCN's move into urbanism continues with this new video asking whether cycle infrastructure might be unequitable. Features Andy Bonau and me, one of whom was looking far scruffier than the other...
Really interesting perspectives on active travel infrastructure youtu.be/etwt75kYYhk?... @lauralaker.bsky.social @emilykerr36.bsky.social @wwctrustcymru.bsky.social and H/T to @ianwalker.bsky.social
@pimlicat.bsky.social @willhaycardiff.bsky.social Thank you both for sharing another engaging conversation about politics in Wales. Super insightful as always. I hope Wales is in a good place at the time of the next one, after the election 😬

This GCN episode gives a much better insight into the man, and how other road users treat him. It isn’t all hate. And it shows just how much London is a glorified car park!
Hope this is an omen for the day!

The Welsh name for Greenland is Yr Ynys Las. There’s also a village in Wales called Ynyslas, near Aberystwyth.
The people of Ceredigion clearly have a very good sense of humour!
Trump is one of the worst humans ever to hold power. Vile.
Solidarity with the people of Greenland from Wales. ✊

Indeed. This one took me ages!
Plucky guess

Great to hear Naomi’s voice of reason and expertise in this slot this morning. The same could not be said of all callers.
Check out the For Wales, See Wales podcast - 24 Oct episode I think. I also hope @willhaycardiff.bsky.social returns to the @quietriotpod.bsky.social podcast soon, to discuss the election, the new system and the problems with tactical voting

Interesting how they compare to those others now. I didn’t look at them because I’ve found VWs too small in the driver’s seat (I’m v tall). Next time…
I would much prefer an estate. Tried with last car purchase but those I tried (<5 yrs old) had enormous boots and less leg room than some hatchbacks
Another Karoq fan too. Really wanted another estate but boot space is increasingly prioritised over leg room - couldn’t fit in a new Octavia with my 2 kids in car seats. I’m v tall but didn’t use to be an issue. Would rather not have SUV style but we also do v few urban miles
It’s so cold the thresholds are freezing
You’ve probably already seen this. His inconsistent accounts of the past seems to be part of their motivation to speak out now bsky.app/profile/mrja...

NY Times Connections puzzle with a credit to BBC’s Only Connect game show, where the concept for the game was created
About time @nytimes.com ! Although nicely done. The original is obviously still the best 😉 @vcorenmitchell.bsky.social #OnlyConnect #Connections
Brilliant analysis of the week in politics in Wales. I hope all parties pay close attention to these guys, and @willhaycardiff.bsky.social, as we approach the May election. Still slightly lost on the merits and influence of tactical voting under the new system, however
16% of eligible members is an almost meaningless statistic, with unions included
That’ll do

Ethnicities. And identities. Are. Made. Up.
We get to choose.
Someone can be a Leeds native, a Yorkshireman, a Brit BUT not English.
Just take me out and throw me in the sea. I’m done.
The prompt I needed to finally deactivate X
I was in the same position. However, as I just found you here (thanks to a repost by another), I have faith that I’ll find all of my contacts again eventually. So, after 16 yrs, just left X altogether.
