Breonna Taylor was a 26-year-old Black woman, an EMT and aspiring nurse, who was killed on March 13, 2020, in Louisville, Kentucky. Police officers entered her apartment late at night to serve a no-knock search warrant connected to a case involving someone who did not live there.
