Marking an assignment I’ve been told to give feedback as a 3 min voice recording rather than in writing. Welcome to what sounds like a series of awkward answerphone messages.

This morning I find myself thinking about AI-generated instructions issued for performers, and what this says about the authority and voice of “the other” in our current context. Also: how this differs from earlier textual instructions for performers (eg 60s event scores).
