Ocean Altar (I love the title)
This one feels like joy and confusion a good sign. A total mess, still asking for more
For now, I’m letting it stay strange. I'm going to pray to the strangeness. I'll let the ocean give me direction. 😉
There are moments in the studio when I feel calm and centered. Then there are moments when I feel half-crazed. The intuitive is pushing the rational.

Another drawing considering the Corot paintings I saw at the Frick Collection.
I worked on this one at the airport. Still not finished, but it’s good to be home.

2026I’m on the road, so for now the iPad is my studio. I’m still processing some beautiful small Corot paintings I saw at the Frick.
I have an important exhibition coming up in about a year. These little iPad studies are helping me ramp up my thinking as I move toward that work.
Larry and I went to the Frick Collection today. The newly remodeled galleries are gorgeous. Corot, especially, lit a fuse for me. I ended up making this little iPad drawing afterward, and now I’m thinking it could be the starting point for some large quasi abstract landscape paintings.
I had some collectors drop by to look at my work yesterday. We ended up taking a very deep dive into my flat files. This is always interesting to do because I find things I have forgotten about. They ended up buying some things. These are all acrylic on Yupo, I might have to return to that surface.
I do not take any kind of advice from anyone named, Oz.
Reorganizing the studio for a state arts board project and a big opportunity I can’t announce yet. It involves very large paintings.
Meanwhile, I found this old Badlands photo and reworked it on my iPad.
Open studio/progress report/party later this summer. Things may burn.
Probably.
yes, absolutely yes.

sorry my friend, Taco Johns all the way.
No matter what…
Never stop talking about the Epstein Files.
Never stop talking about the Epstein Files.
Never stop talking about the Epstein Files.
No matter what.
Elizabeth Warren: "I am a hard no on a supplemental. This is not a war the American people want us to engage in. This is not a war that makes us safer ... No. No more money. The only thing Congress has the power to do is to stop actions like this through the power of the purse."
I can't wait to take my short, little excursion to my polling place to get rid of evil.

100% agree, sir.
