Cover of Three Twins at the Crater School by Chaz Brenchley. Art by Ben Baldwin. Three young girls in green school uniforms cower back at the edge of a lake. From the waters emerges a giant Martian creature: part-insect, part-lobster. The Crater School buildings can be seen in the background.
Are you a fan yet? Chaz Brenchley's Crater School books are a perfect recreation of the classic girls' boarding school tales such as the Chalet School series. There's just one twist: the school is on Mars! The first book in the series is Three Twins at the Crater School.

Interesting. I’ve had one each from the Greens, Labour and Reform, and three from Plaid.
The government was forced to admit the EHRC’s transphobic draft guidance got it wrong, and they’ve had to send it back to the drawing board.
But the fight is far from over. They plan to bring an updated version back to parliament in May. So we need to act – fast 👇
Shockingly, the only major party who didn't send a representative to a debate around issues affecting women and girls that I attended last night was...
No, of course not
Reform want women to be pregnant & in the Kitchen but
they don't want workers to be Paid enough for that to happen as today's couples need 2 incomes to be able to raise kids unlike the past where a Union job paid enough
to buy a home & raise children
It could be useful, though…
No idea, but then then this chart is about what Americans find hard
Be proud, Finnish friends
I’m mildly surprised that they know Celtic languages exist
We all need to lodge an official complaint. It takes no time at all, and I've dropped a link to BBC Complaints in the comments. This is shocking.

❌ Don't let Farage's Reform UK win in Wales.
✅ Vote Plaid Cymru on 7 May to stand up for Wales, protect our NHS, and stop their Trumpian style politics.
Two women with their backs to each others. One rests her head gently on the other’s shoulder. Both have their eyes closed to show rainbow coloured eye-shadow.
This Lesbian Visibility Week, we uplift and support all lesbians — cis, trans, gender non-conforming — all are welcome with us.
Here at NION, our lesbian members are proud to join our trans sisters in the fight for a more inclusive society.
Not around here, but Carmarthenshire is probably not a priority area. If they can take votes from Reform out east, that would be good.
I get the impression that they have pretty much given up in Wales. Their election leaflet was terrible.
There’s potential for much drama in Westminster today, but don’t expect any results. No one in Labour wants Starmer to go now, because none of them want to be in charge for the inevitable disaster of May 7th.
⚠️ Last chance to register to vote for the most important election since the dawn of devolution!

🏴 Vote Plaid Cymru on 7 May - for new leadership to stop Reform and stand up for Wales.
Today the Prime Minister will assure Parliament that there was no window, or if there was a window it did not break, and if it broke it was not from a ball, and if there was a ball there was no kick.
He will add that he is "furious" about the window that broke from a ball that was kicked. (By him.)
This is very good, but quite long. The tl;dr is that the WRU are to Welsh rugby what Dr Beeching was to Welsh railways.
