He rose to power on an anti-American, anti-Trump message. That's not a great place to be when you're negotiating w/ an economy multiples larger than you"

Bessent: "I find Europeans very disappointing bc they're on the frontline of the Ukraine-Russia war. India started buying sanctioned Russian oil & guess who was buying refined products? Europeans. The Europeans have been funding war against themselves... they put trade ahead of the Ukrainian people"

EISEN: Are we intervening in the currency market right now, strengthening the Yen?
